We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Our story begins on the 25th September 2011....

Jordan was 14 years old when he was diagnosed with a mixture of both T-Cell ALL, and AML Leukaemia. He was taken immediately to the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at the Heath Hospital Cardiff, and treatment started straight away. We were truly devastated and in complete and utter shock!!!

Jordan's treatment lasted for three and a half years, and has been grueling, intensive and at times unbearable...but somehow he has shown courage, strength and determination throughout.

As Jordan's Mother, I have felt pain and fear like I never knew existed, and a total lack of control at times. But on the flip of this, I have witnessed the life-changing care and support given to Jordan, and us, throughout this horrendous roller-coaster of a ride!!!

Jordan's treatment has recently finished, and he continues to grow in strength. I am eternally grateful to the team of health care professionals, and support staff that have helped Jordan along the way. No words can ever describe the amazing, life saving work they do.

I want to give a little something back to this charity, and with your help, I am going to raise as much as I can for them by taking part in "Skydive for Stephen" details about this event are below.........

....."Before he died, Stephen Sutton MBE had set his heart on breaking the record for the most number of tandem skydives in one day. Though he had worked with Hibaldstow Airfield to achieve this feat, unfortunately Stephen wasn’t able to make it a reality in the time he had left.Inspired by Stephen and at the request of his family, Teenage Cancer Trust is organising a world-record breaking skydiving event for summer 2015. Help us raise £120,000 to support young people with cancer. We need at least 350 people to jump 10,000 feet on Friday 10 July 2015 at Hibaldstow Airfield in Lincolnshire"

Teenage Cancer Trust have helped, and will continue to help, by providing care and support to young people, so they don't have to face cancer alone!!
