Through a special arrangement, the funds raised on this page will be used to help Cancer Research UK to support their breast cancer research portfolio.

Three years ago I was diagnosed with Grade 3 Breast Cancer.  It was a massive shock not only for myself but for the family also.  I then began a journey of lots of up’s and down’s with treatment that at times was very distressing, but with support from family and friends I came through it and March 1^st 2013 I was given the all clear. Research into Breast Cancer is so very important because without it myself and hundreds of other Women may have had a very different outcome. 

On Saturday 5th September there are 25 of us involved in the Dragon Boat race 17 will be in the boat and the rest of us will be fundraising selling cup cakes, face painting and a sweet lucky dip.
