The Dufferin NCO team have been challenged to collectively climb all 11,674 steps of the Niesen mountain’s “Swiss Pyramid” staircase, from their homes. 

This is the world’s longest staircase and has a total of 1,669m of altitude to hike! 

Their aim is to raise £1167.40 - £1 for every 10 steps, with all proceeds going towards vital funds for Dufferin St John Ambulance cadet unit, based in Bangor, Co Down. The unit teaches first aid and other life skills to young people aged 10 to 17 years old.
