As most of you will be aware I have competed in the challenge event Solider 30/30 for the last 3 years, as a team member. As with many events this year due to a virus there may not be an official event.. I feel quite strongly about supporting this small charity , so I have decided to run the course solo carrying the usual 30lbs, to push myself and see what I can achieve  now that l am a grandad and have reach the ripe old age of 50. 

My intention is to run the race on the 17 Oct unless the government forces a lockdown again. Sharon will come and support with a couple of water stops and maybe a smile . I would really like to achieve under  8 hours, and raise £500 for a small charity supporting veterans.
