Story
Dylan was born at UCLH 3 months prematurely weighing just 660 grams! Dylan was nicknamed ''little fighter' by the doctors as despite the odds he came into the world breathing for himself
and crying which took everyone by surprise. Dylan was whisked away in a bag by the amazing doctors and nurses to be cared for.
The care Dylan received was extraordinary, with the nurses and doctors always reacting quickly and providing support to Dylan and us.
Dylan spent 6 weeks at UCLH during which he was transferred to GOSH and then finally to our local hospital where he was cared for for another 5 weeks.
Dylan finally came home to us weighing 1.5kg almost 3 months after being born. He spent the majority of his hospital stay in intensive care with 2 weeks in special care.
We thank the entire UCLH maternity and neonatal team for all their kindness, support and care for Dylan and his mummy.
