We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) is a charity set up in memory of Lt John Thornton, a Royal Marine who gave his life in Afghanistan on 30th March 2008. This charity supports young people from a variety of youth organisations, giving scholarships and bursaries to support individuals in the pursuit of their dreams, as well as abroad projects helping to build schools in Ghana with other organisations.

I am running the equivalent distance of London to Paris, 345 km over the next few months with my aim to complete this before October 2020. I will be doing this within the guidance of social distancing. and ensuring that my event does not conflict with any safety guidance from the government.

Please support me and this amazing charity who's work changes lives of so many young people. Thank You
