Story

Last July a group of folk from Exopack Advanced Coatings entered the Llandudno Triathlon to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice in Wrexham in memory of Alan Parker who was MD at EAC from 2003 - 2009.

As you can see, the target has been beaten!  Many thanks to all who contributed and a special thank you to Jack Knott our President who agreed that the company would match by half as much again what had been collected, which brought us to the grand total (above).

Some of the triathlon team members had sponsor forms and the total of £771.00 which they raised has been added to our total.   Many, many thanks to all of you who sponsored the team.  We also recieved £164.00 from Roy Bebington who organised a Quiz Night, a big thankyou to him and all of those folk who turned up and failed miserably to gain a respectable quiz score.

We hope to have the final amount by next week so keep watching.

And what a success it was! See images on the left.  All the team members completed the course in good times, a tremendous effort considering that bar two, this was the first Triathlon they'd attempted.

Matthew Parry (a first timer) completed the course in the fastest team time and was presented with a trophy.

Many, many thanks to all of you who've supported us, as you can see, we're creeping closer to our goal and with sponsorship that has to be collected we still hope to get there. Thanks also to all who came on the day to support and particularly to Joanne for all her efforts and the pork pies at the end!

The site will stay open for a few weeks yet until we've gathered together all the monies and reach a final figure, so keep watching this space
