Story

I'm having another go at this run (it's the 5th time), becoming an obsession perhaps? I think the rule is I stop doing it if I don't beat the PB - currently 3hr 10mins. This year my chosen charity is the Shooting Star Hospice and I have a target of £1800 to raise in 2 weeks.

This is an amazing organisation in my home town which does wonderful things for kids with life limiting conditions and their families. It costs £3 million every year (£8,000 a day) to maintain the care services that they offer and with no long-term statutory funding, the majority of this must come from voluntary donations.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate if you are able.

Many thanks.
