Story

Hello there! Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page and supporting my fundraising with your much needed donation.

My name is Ed and I’ll be participating in the London Marathon 2024. This will be my first (and hopefully not last) marathon.. I've partnered with the Zurich Community Trust (ZCT), an organization that's been making waves since 1973 by supporting charities, causes, and community programs across the UK and beyond.

ZCT has a remarkable history of transforming lives. Over the years, they've channelled more than £90 million to various charities, causes, and initiatives. They've handpicked national partners who share their vision: Barnardo's, championing children and young people's mental health; Dementia UK, providing vital support to those living with dementia and their caregivers; and Magic Breakfast, fighting child hunger. ZCT's national partners receive £300,000 over two years, and I'm here to help ensure that promise is fulfilled.

By generously sponsoring me, you're not just investing in my marathon journey but giving unconditionally to the Zurich Community Trust. (Meaning if I don’t finish no refunds, however, hand on heart, even if I lose a few limbs before there’s no way I’m not finishing).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
