Louise came up with this idea one summer's day and stupidly Peter and I agreed to do it. 

As you may know our little sister Katy has Down Syndrome and so we thought we would run the London Marathon for Mencap.

Mencap is a charity that has supported not only Katy but our entire family. Mencap works exclusively with and for people with a learning disability, their families and carers. Katy has been lucky enough to be a part of Bromley Mencap and so has had all kind of opportunities available to her. Most recently Katy has started at a resdential College in Somerset which Mencap set up called Lufton College. Here Katy is learning how to become an independent woman!

Training has begun, we will be posting pictures and updates as we go along. Louise has already completed a half marathon in 2 hours 15!!
