Story
Small Steps helps children with physical disabilities, aged from birth to 5 years, working on all areas of their development, using the principles of conductive education.
The children that attend Small Steps have cerebral palsy, other forms of motor impairment, syndromes or sensory impairment. They need a great deal of extra stimulation and assistance to help them reach even the most basic milestones. At Small Steps, a teacher, conductor and physiotherapist lead both parent and child through a structured programme designed to help each child achieve individualised developmental steps.
Louie has been given a place at Small Steps and we attend a weekly class there. It is a wonderful organisation and a great support both to Louie and to us - he loves the classes and gets a huge amount out of attending them. We have enjoyed getting to know the other children and parents as well as the amazing staff there.
The work of Small Steps is truly inspirational and we would be extremely grateful for your support for this very worthy cause. Small Steps is a free service and receives no statutory funding, so is solely dependent on charitable grants, fundraising and donations. No matter what the amount, every little bit donated will make a big difference! Please sponsor us on our 10k to help Small Steps continue their amazing work enhancing the lives of disabled children and their families. Thank you.
