I will be running 100k throughout March in order to raise money for this dedicated and climate-caring cause. Stump Up For Trees is a farmer-led community based charity which aims to plant one million trees in the Brecon Beacons area. They liaise with upland farmers and landowners to use areas of their least agriculturally productive land to plant trees. Trees have so many benefits for people and the environment. They create habitats for wildlife, act as natural flood management, produce better air and water quality, enhance local biodiversity. Also, arguably the most important benefit is that they absorb carbon dioxide which mitigates climate change. 

Climate change is one of the worlds most imminent issues and needs urgent action on multiple levels, from an international, to a local-level effort. Afforestation is one of many ways to combat this. This urgent cause is not a short-term fix, but needs dedication and persistence over a number of years, it is an investment. The affects are long-lasting and contribute to a greener and happier planet. 

Just £4.50 will fund the planting and maintenance of a tree in the Brecon Beacons for 12 years. Please give anything you can to this meaningful and worthwhile cause :)
