On the 13th November 2021, I will begin a 5 day trek through the rugged landscapes of Jordan with the aim of reaching the ancient city of Petra. The trek will include crossing vast deserts and hiking up mountains in 30°C temperatures and camping in approximately 5°C temperatures. 

I'm doing this trek to raise money for Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust. Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust is the UK's leading cervical cancer charity and they work towards the ultimate goal of eliminating cervical cancer. Currently, nine people are diagnosed with cervical cancer every day and 220,000 are diagnosed with cell changes, which often need treatment. Jo's trust supports people through incredibly difficult journeys and need more funds to continue to do so, hence why fundraising missions are so important.
