This Saturday, 15th May, I'll be doing the Moonwalk. This is a 26.2 mile power walk through the streets of in the dead of night with my friend in the hope of raising some money for breast cancer. The added treat is that I'll only be wearing a 'showtime' themed bra...and some leggings. As many of you know I’m no Paula, but I aim to give it my absolute best.

Walk the Walk not only focuses on vital research, it also provides funding for scalp coolers (which helps prevent hair loss during chemotherapy), supports Penny Brohn Cancer Care (a leading UK charity which focuses on the emotional and spiritual impact of cancer diagnosis), Maggie's Centre in Glasgow and the Breast Cancer Institute where amongst other things they have created a special breast cancer ward which provides patients with the comfort, space and privacy they deserve; and a second dedicated operating theatre within the breast cancer unit so patients do not have to be transported across the entire hospital for treatment.

I have as ever left this a little bit late, largely due to my hesitancy in asking you at all, however if you would be willing to sponsor me to help raise money for these amazing causes I would be eternally grateful.
