Story
Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page.
On Sunday 28 April I will be running the London marathon to raise money for the African Caribbean Leukaemia. Trust (ACLT).
The ACLT’s core belief is that no one should die waiting for a donor to become available. For more than 20 years they have worked tirelessly to raise awareness and add as many ethnic minorities to the UK Donor Register as possible through donor drives and clinics. While the number of BAME donors has increased over the years, it is still drastically low compared to the national average. Having more African Caribbean donors on the register helps to increase the chance of survival for those waiting for a blood, stem cell or bone marrow match.
With your kind generosity I would like to help the ACLT continue with their hard work towards this worthy cause, which in turn could help save a life.
All donations are greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support.
