Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

Established in 1999, Greenfingers is a national charity dedicated to supporting life-limited children and their families who spend time in hospices around the UK.

We are walking the 3 Peaks Challenge as a team in September 2022 to raise funds to build the Nest, a garden space in the currently-bare grounds of the Nook Children's Hospice in East Anglia.

There really is great power in nature. Through creating well-designed and beautiful outdoor spaces at hospices, children can spend valuable time with family and friends - whether through play and fun, or therapeutic rest and relaxation.

Greenfingers is driven by the belief that time spent outdoors and away from the bedside can offer children and families vital relief. Having the opportunity to embrace the benefits of being in the fresh air and engaging with the natural environment can help with the considerable stress they face.
