We work, courageously, to change the world for street children
Story
Hi, thanks for taking the time to read this. Staff in the FELS Courses and Awards Office have been working together as project teams to undertake a range of challenges designed to:
· encourage a sense of community amongst staff who do not normally work together
· support and challenge each other as appropriate to solve problems and find news ways of working smartly
· investigate using e-rooms for project planning
Our group : Amy Brown, Ross Cranham, Jon Dyas, Lynda Juma, Jo Miller, Linda Quantrill, Malihe Sanatian, Shirley Scripps, Nicky Thomas and Carole Watts decided to take on a personal challenge and go on a high-wire adventure course with ‘Go Ape’.
Go Ape is a ‘high-wire forest adventure’ at Woburn that sets groups loose on giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and the country’s best zip lines. (http://www.goape.co.uk/)
Because this is such a challenge for us we really thought it would be worthwhile marking this event by getting sponsored to overcome our fear and complete the GoApe course . The charity we’ve chosen is ‘Toybox’ a charity committed to providing help for street children in Latin America : 'Street children in Latin America are being robbed of their childhood. But every day, Toybox offers these forgotten children the chance of a brighter future'.

So we’re asking you , and our friendsand family if you wouldn’t mind putting your hands in your pockets to support us and Toybox. Will you help us?
Thanks so much for your time.
Toybox - changing the world for street children.
Our vision is of a just world with no street children.
