Story
Hello everyone! I am excited to be a part of the Engineers in Action Programm this summer, building a footbridge for the community of Kea Kea in Bolivia with a team of 9 students. I am grateful for the knowledge I have gained throughout my degree in Civil and environmental engineering and hope that I can use what I have learned, to provide a measurable benefit for the community of Kea Kea. My team and I am currently still trying to fund this project, so if you have a spare euro it would really help!
The EIA Bridge Program's mission is to empower today's volunteers to become tomorrow's global change-makers by building bridges with underserved communities. Our university chapter is an important part of that mission! Donate today and help us build a much-need pedestrian bridge this summer alongside the community Kea Kea, Bolivia. For just $50 you can help a child get to school, a pregnant mother reach the health clinic, or a hardworking parent sell their crops at the market. Can't hit $50? Give what you can and invite your friends to help you reach that $50 together! Every donation helps!
