Flic (skipper), Chris, Tessa, Adrian, Matt, Peter, Dr Hutch and Keith are racing in the Fastnet Race 2015. Four are Fastnet virgins and the rest including all the girls and Elixir herself have been there before some of us several times. It is tough 600 mile race. Elixir  is in the minority having a female skipper.

Flic's other passion is developing new drugs. Findacure is a really valuable charity raising money for disease treatments unlikely to get funding through conventional channels.

Elixir is one of two boats raising money for Findacure in Fastnet the other being Nunatak both have female skippers.
