Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We know that this year has been especially challenging, with what can feel like very little resolution in sight.
It has certainly felt very isolating and we fear that with upcoming holidays those feelings of isolation and worry will be amplified.
PFAN (Parents Families Allies Network), PAR (Parents Advocacy and Rights) and ATD Fourth World have come together to welcome parents apart from their child/ children to our festive get together.

We would be so thankful if you would join us for an evening to get together and share good company. Equally, if you know a parent who might be interested in attending please do extend them our invitation.
We are proposing to hold our festive get together over Zoom to keep everyone safe. We shall sing carols, make a festive craft, and play games.
We would like to encourage you to bring yourself a mince pie and beverage. We wish so much that we could be serving you in person, but at least this way we can all come together to make space to be festive at the close of a long and difficult year.
If you can have a square of paper for a quick and easy craft that would be wonderful.
If the costs of internet access are prohibitive or if a small voucher would help enable you to participate and have a cuppa and a treat with us, please do let us know. We will make arrangements to send a top up voucher or grocery voucher. We know finances are tight and we don't want anyone to be unable to participate.
There are two available dates - please join us on which ever date is most convenient.

If you know of a parent apart from their child/ children or who has experienced the stress of child protection systems and may enjoy joining in our community please invite them to take part. Please share this with them.
For everyone, regardless of attending the get together, we would like to ask if you would like to receive a holiday card and email on the morning of the 25th of December.

If you are an ally or supporter of parent advocacy and you might be able to donate £5 to help support a parent with an internet top up to enable them to attend this get together, we would greatly appreciate your support.
