During the month of November colleagues at HEIW are taking part in Movember 'to grow a Mo to save a Bro' in recognition of men's mental health and as part of our Time to Change work fighting stigma and raising awareness of this unspoken issue which is arguably at epidemic levels. In the UK men are 3 times more likely to die from suicide than men, with the Samaritans highlighting that 75% of all deaths by suicide in 2018 were male. All funds raised throughout November will go to support the amazing work of the Jacob Abraham Foundation who aim to raise awareness of mental health, reduce stigma and encourage open conversations about mental health.
