Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, here's the plan, fly to Zurich, then bike from there to Frankfurt, the weekend of July 4th. It's approxiamtely 250 miles, to be covered over four days. For all you geography buffs, you'll know that Zurich is in Switzerland, so a few small hills to be negotiated on day one, leave Zurich and head to the Black Forest, cut throught the Forest and head into France  on day two, hopefully time to have a glass or two of the local produce, day 3, head up the Rhine Valley, day 4, ride from Speyer to Frankfurt. Hoping for an incident free few days on my bike in the countryside!!

The charity - Alzheimer’s Society

Alzheimer's Society is the ’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those that care for them. There are over 700,000 people with dementia in the with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025. Dementia is not a natural part of ageing; it is caused by diseases of the brain and gradually robs people of their lives. One in three people over 65 will die with dementia. Every day, more people affected by dementia turn for help to Alzheimer's Society than to any other organisation. The society provides information and support for people with various forms of dementia, run quality care services, fund research and campaign for improved health and social care and a greater awareness for those living with dementia.
