This is my first athlectic challenge since leaving school twenty years ago! I have been training seriously for a year and have completed three competitive half-marathons.
My husband Patrick and I have been raising money for SPARKS for over ten years now. Patrick has done this by indulging his love of golf and I have chosen to run the London Marathon.
As a mother, I feel blessed in having a healthy child and supporting a children's medical research charity seemed a natural choice.
