Story
I do lots of crazy things, enter into mad races and climb incredible mountains but I have never asked anyone to sponsor me. In June this year I ran my first ultra marathon - 70kms in total - I thought that might calm me down a little but I smiled the whole way round and really loved it. So what next? Mmmmmmm
How about running 220km? summiting to 5400m? and running up 15,000m over 7 days in Nepal?
This is going to be really really hard work and I think there might even be a few tears along the route but it will be an incredible personal challenge and trying to breathe and run above 3000m will be equivalent to Nick and Jo-Jo breathing everyday of their short lives. It's going to hurt, it's going to be really tough, I am really really scared but I'm doing it because 'I can and they can't'
So this is in memory of my amazing mother, who died of cancer at aged 47. I still miss and think about her every single day - Mum you raised so much money for Cystic Fibrosis, you fought so hard for Jo and Nick - It's my turn in November
