We work with local partners in Africa to protect, educate and empower children
Story
Hi everyone
Yes - it is that time of year - Sept 5th - my 52nd birthday in fact when I decide to defy my age and run round Hyde Park with thousands of other slightly crazed women...
This time I am doing it for a charity that I am newly involved with - AbleChild Africa - which is working to secure rights of disabled children throughout Africa. Click on the website and you can find out more about them. If we can enshrine rights for disabled children here - we can do it there - we just need your help to make it happen. As most people know, I am pretty busy at the moment trying to get Ed Balls elected for Leader of the Labour Party ...so the training regime has gone for a burton. But hell - I will walk it - if I have to!
So if you want to send me a birthday present - send me a donation for AbleChild Africa !
Able Child Africa (UK registered charity) works to secure equal rights for children with disabilities in Africa. We work in partnership with local organisations in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia and Malawi to ensure children with disabilities are empowered to fulfill their full potential.
