Thanks for taking the time to visit Fred Heppell's just giving page. 

Fred was an enthusiastic cyclist who at 80 years old was still cycling 10,000 miles per year and had no intention of slowing down. Sadly he was fatally injured on his bike in a road accident at Shincliffe in Durham on Friday 10th November..

Fred was air lifted to hospital by the wonderful air ambulance crew but sadly lost his life later that day.

Our family are requesting Donations through JustGiving in memory of Fred. Just giving is simple, fast and totally secure.
