We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Urmila is an inspiration to one and all!

Being a cancer survivor, she continues to manage not only her personal life along with dialysis three times a week but also actively continue to organise events for the local Bracknell community. It takes sheer determination to take on a monster like cancer and Urmila is showing us how to do just that each day!

A few of Urmila's friends joined together 3 years ago to participate in the first 5K @ Windsor in 2013. Then we did it again last year. This year it will be our 3rd race in a row - and guess what Urmila is training already! Please join along to support Urmila and lots of other women in their fight against cancer.

Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring Friends of Urmila - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring Friends of Urmila, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring we all join hands in beating cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Looking forward to your support…

This year marks our 3rd race in a row as a team!!!
