Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Team GDA's Three Peak Challenge JustGiving page.

We will be taking on one of the UK's toughest fundraising challenges; The Three Peak Challenge to raise money to support deaf and hard of hearing people in Gloucester.

The money we raise from this challenge will help pay for the use of a minibus, which GDA will use to bring isolated hearing impaired people back into the community.

Deafness isn't just about not being able to hear. To truly understand what deafness is about, it helps to define it as not being able to communicate.

Deafness is an invisble disability. It brings isolation, fear and mental struggles to a sufferer. By being able to provide access to a group who otherwise remain on their own, GDA will be giving them a lifeline - a reason to be.

The support GDA provides to thousands of hearing impaired people across Gloucestershire is vital to their wellbeing. Without the charity many would remain on their own.

This challenge is our way of supporting this great charity. It's going to be tough, but we're ready to take it on and we hope you will to by supporting us.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you for your support from Team GDA :)
