Story

Donate a pound to St Raphael's Hospice 25th anniversary "GIVE YOUR QUID" appeal.  Actress June Whitfield, CBE, who starred in Absolutely Fabulous, Last of the Summer Wine and "Terry and June" launched the Appeal, in conjunction with the Sutton & Wimbledon Guardian newspapers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.

The local Guardian newspapers, Sutton and Wimbledon editions are asking everyone in Sutton & Merton boroughs to join them in supporting St Raphael's Hospice, a charity that for the past 25 years, has done extraordinary work to help the people of Sutton & Merton.

It costs an average of nearly £4,500 to care for each patient at the hospice and a whopping £4m to keep the charity running each year.  The NHS only provides a quarter of this money - it has to raise the rest through donations, legacies and a host of fundraising events.

So please dig deep.  By donating, you will be helping families at the time they are most vulnerable.
