Paris Marathon 2011 · 10 April 2011 ·

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charity that raises the funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying and fleet of Critical Care Cars responding. We can only be there for those in need, with your continued kindness and support. Together, we are Devon Air Ambulance.

Story

HELLO!

I'm mostly running this Marathon as a personal challenge. One of those things you're supposed to do in life and all that jazz.

But then I thought people might think it selfish and odd not to take this opportunity to do a little good. So I picked a charity that was local, focused and effective and set up this page to give them a helping hand.

I've not set any kind of target and am putting no pressure on people to donate, but any sponsorship will be hugely appreciated by those working at the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and obviously by those whose lives you may well save.

They've very kindly been in touch since I set up this page and have offered me their thanks and support - including a snazzy t-shirt (see the photos!) to run in - so please give generously if you can.

WE DID IT!!!!

Despite my sore knee and David's stinking cold, we managed to finish in 4h23  - hurray!!!!

All the encouragement and support on here was a real boost, so thank you all so very very much!
