Story

Hi everyone!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing the Eton Triathlon on 23rd May 2010 for Hospices of Hope, a charity my father is heavily involved in, to help raise funds for the work they do in Romania and surrounding countries. Hospices of Hope are one of the few organisations providing support and palliative care for terminally ill children, adults and their carers in south east Europe.

Almost 20 years after the fall of communism these are still some of the poorest countries in Europe, with a struggling healthcare system that offers little or nothing in the way of hospice care. Hospices of Hope's mission is to allow those they care for to live and die with dignity as respected and valued members of their society.

For those who would like to see a little more of what the charity do there is a video about the children of the hospice in Romania on You Tube:

Any donations you can make will go a long way to helping the hospice continue to provide great quality care to those that who need it and offering some much deserved respite for so many.

So please dig deep and donate now for such a great cause and don't forget to tick for Gift Aid!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
