I know it is a bit cheeky making the assumption that my friends were going to buy me lavish presents for my birthday ... but instead I would love it if you felt able to give a donation to the maternity ward at the Friarage Hospital in Northallerton.

 

Having spent quite a bit of time in this ward, and being hugely appreciative of all it did, I wanted to give something back. They are often overlooked when it comes to fundraising but they are a wonderful service. I was appalled last year when they were partially closed and hope never to hear that again.

For the record, I am not planning to use them again but hope other women can continue to have the security and care delievered from this ward.
