We have a wonderful Downs Syndrome support group in Inverclyde that my daughter Toni (aged 6)! who has Downs, and our whole family benefit from.  We need to regularly fund raise to pay for things like Speech and Language Therapy and Behavioural Therapy, which are vital to the kids.  We also take the kids out from time to time to have fun, and recently they all enjoyed a great day out at Heads of Ayr Farm Park.

Enabling the children to be as independent as possible and included in all aspects of society is our main aim.  By supporting us through this site, you will really help us and Downs Syndrome Scotland work to achieve this goal.

We also plan to make a donation from the funds raised to TOFS charity which supports families of children born unable to swallow.  This condition requires surgery at birth and affects eating and drinking all through life.  Toni is also a "TOF" and the charities work is very important in raising awareness of the condition, connecting families and supporting them.

After a few pints, we decided to embark on this cycle to raise money for the children.  Thanks in advance to the guys for volunteering and at the finish line, if we can walk to the pub, I think it will be my round!
