Story

I am raising funds for Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team by walking 1000 miles in the year beginning 1st Feb 2023 and ending  31st Jan 2024.

My reason for supporting CBMRT is simple, they save lives that others couldn't and keep the beautiful Brecon Beacons safe for the public to enjoy. 

As a member of the public who enjoys being out in the Beacons I am doing my bit ensure that they remain as safe as they can be and remain open for all to enjoy.

About the charity

We are a voluntary Search and Rescue service covering the Central Brecon Beacons and the South and Mid Wales area. A 999 24/7 service operating in all weather conditions to assist those injured/lost in mountain/rural/urban environments. We rely on donations for the £60,000 yearly running costs.
