YEAR 8 AND I'M STILL HERE...THANKS TO THE PEOPLE WHO LOOK AFTER ME AND CHECK ME OUT EVERY SO OFTEN!

But wouldn't it be nice if we could get rid of this deadly disease so nobody had to worry about the possibility of getting breast cancer? Once you've had the disease it's always at the back of your mind that it may come back and you realise what a fine line we all tread in life as so many of us take our health for granted - I don't anymore. Finding a cure is so important as well as ensuring research continues in the future to prevent the disease occuring at all.

I would hate my daughters to have to go through what I've gone through. So let's keep working at trying to find a cure by donating to such worthwhile charities.

On Saturday 15th May 2010, whilst many of you will be sat with a glass of wine in front of the TV, I'll be at the starting line of the WalktheWalk Playtex Moonwalk, ready to endure 26.2 miles of the streets of London...without that glass of wine! Perhaps six or so hours later I'll hit the finishing line, by which time I'll definitely be wanting more than one glass of wine and you'll probably all still be fast asleep!
