Back now after running the New York marathon - delighted to say that I finished in a pleasing 3 hours 53 minutes. Richard my running partner managed 3:51 despite wearing his shorts back to front...

What an experience ! 45,000 people, HUGE crowds, awesome views. What's more I beat the current world record holder Haile Gebrselassi !    

Note that the cost of the trip was being funded by me - the charity will get every penny raised

I am raising money for Blesma, which helps servicemen who have lost limbs to rehabilitate.
