I lost my Mum at the end of July to Ovarian Cancer. For the last few weeks of her life she was cared for by the tremendous team of staff and volunteers at The Katharine House Hospice near Banbury.

Care at Katharine House is free, but it costs over £2.6 million to run the Hospice, of which around 35% comes from the Government - the rest has to be raised by voluntary fund raising.

And that is why I'm doing the Santa Fun Run - to help raise much needed money and to say thank you for all the care and support they gave to my Mum and the rest of my family at what was a very difficult time.
