Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is all very "lastminute.com" like most of my arrangements are and much like my training!

I am taking part in the Midnight Walk tomorrow to raise much needed funds for Woking Hospice in memory of Andrew who tragically lost his battle against cancer at the age of 44.  For the two weeks that Andrew was in Woking Hospice he was cared for by the staff with the utmost compassion and dignity, during this time I was able to stay with him and have seen firsthand the staff at work.  They are truly amazing.

As we all know, the Hospice had to close part of its facilities in October but these have since reopened due to massive fundraising by all.  Woking Hospice must keep its doors open so that other families can receive the care needed during the most difficult of times.

Woking Hospice continue to play an important role in Matthew, Anna and my life and for this and the care they gave Andrew I am eternally grateful.

Any sponsorship, whatever its value, will be gratefully received and will be put to good use by this very worthwhile charity.

Many thanks
