The Braemar Mountain Rescue Team provide a fantastic service for those in need in the mountains, and they provide support in other circumstances such as floods, which happened here a few years ago.

They were very professional in our rescue and my friends and I can't hank them enough. It's amazing how they get to people in severe conditions and dangerous places. Have a look at their Facebook web page!

I'm going Sober for October and running a 24k race through the forest tracks and hills of Glentanar, near Aboyne. An event supported by the Braemar Mountain Rescue Team.
