Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 6th January 2007 Bavani Took me along to the Twickenham Stoop. It was wet and cold and we watched Harlequins grind out a 9-3 win over Bath Rugby - I was hooked!
Now a season ticket holder for most of the last decade Harlequins has given me many enjoyable and entertaining days out and the chance to meet and get to know new friends.
So now it's time to give something back. On the 13/14th April I, along with 150 others (including Bavani), will be cycling 200km from the Twickenham Stoop to Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester (Hopefully in time for kick off). The first day is a gentle 160km, the second, a 'short' sharp 40km climb to Gloucester.
We'll be raising money for the Harlequins Foundation which supports local programmes including:-
METTLE - an innovative and exciting mental health campaign.
Switch - encourages women and girls to get involved in rugby.
Any donations to help me reach my target will be gratefully received.
Cheers
Gordon
