From Friday 11th to Sunday 13th June I shall be cycling 150 miles from Whitehaven to Hartlepool, in order to raise funds for youth work in Nunthorpe.  Whilst I enjoy a spot of cycling, this is much more than I have ever done before and will mean cycling more than I have ever done in a single day - for three consecutive days!  I would appreciate your thoughts, but would appreciate your donations even more.

We are looking to raise funds specifically for the youth work done by, and for, St. Mary the Virgin Nunthorpe.  Currently the church provides meeting facilities and social engagement opportunities for well over 100 children on a weekly basis, as well as going into the local schools.  This is done on a pastoral basis, and children are allowed to take from this whatever they want.  We would like to improve on this base, to extend this facility to more children on a more regular basis. 

This means providing more resources, which is where I hope you will help by supporting my efforts on the Coast to Coast by digging deep into your pockets and purses and donating to this worthy cause.  If you can find it in your heart to support this worthy, if not yet internationally recognised charity, I will forever be in your debt.
