Last year I completed the ride in memory of my dear father who died prematurely of a heart attack. I was proud to be in the top 3% of fundraisers on the day. 

This year I am cycling to recognise and remember the fantastic work done on my daughter's heart. Becky found out at 18 that she had a defect which would have killed her had it not been spotted by an alert GP and operated on by a fantastic team in London. She is now a fit and active 34 year old. She has completed marathons in London and New York and loves her work in the NHS. By supporting me with whatever donation you wish to make, you help contribute to the excellent work done by the  British Heart Foundation as it seeks to support those who work to defeat heart disease.
