I am taking part in a charity 50 Mile 🚲bike ride to raise money for a special charity which is close to me and many others. Some of my nearest and dearest have suffered from just a couple of the things this amazing charity deals with, we are forever grateful for the work they do. Sikh Helpline help people of all backgrounds with issues around mental and physical health, abuse, alcohol and substance abuse, domestic violence, bullying, racism, hate crimes, relationship issues, and much more! With the cost of living on the increase every single penny is needed towards the service which call enable will help us to be there as a voice of reassurance, comfort and support at the most vulnerable point of a persons life.
Established over 28 years ago, The Sikh Helpline has developed itself to be a trusted point of contact for members of the community in dealing with a range of issues, especially those linked to cultural and social taboos. The Sikh Helpline is a free confidential telephone support and email inquiry service, available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. Founded over 28 years ago and is the registered charity of its kind, entirely funded from donations of our supporting. The Sikh Helpline (SHL) works independently according to its own policies and mission statement and in close collaboration with third party agencies to ensure service users are signposted to receive the support needed as required.The services of Sikh Helpline are available to any individual regardless of age, gender, race/culture, physical and mental disabilities, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, class or status. Our service is one of listening and we aim to assist anyone in need
