We are taking part in the ARCHIE Amazon Adventure Challenge.  Our team of 10 is going to walk, run, row or cycle the last 1,000 miles of the virtual Amazon river, recording our miles through the special website www.amazonadventure.org.uk.

The event starts on September 1st 2010 and runs for the whole month of September, and is to mark the 10th Birthday of the ARCHIE Foundation charity.

The ARCHIE Foundation is the official charity of the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and Community based Child Health throughout Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. All monies donated to the ARCHIE Foundation go directly towards ‘making the difference’ for children who are patients of the NHS in Grampian and the islands
