We are excited to be a team of 10 women travelling with Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland to build homes alongside women living in slums in Bangalore. We will join women from all over the world to celebrate International Womens Day on 8th March by working in partnership with local women as part of Habitat India's Save and Build programme. 

The scale of poverty in India is immense, India is home to 22% of the world's poor and 350 million people live below the poverty line. The Women Build project will provide a hand-up to safe, decent homes for 150 women headed households.
