Story
I live with a long-term and chronic illness (not Fibromyalgia) that has impacted my life to varying degrees for more years than I have lived without it. I have gone through some challenging and and sometimes unbearable periods, but it has made me a stronger person in many ways.
Nearly a decade ago I met someone suffering with pretty severe Fibromyalgia symptoms and although they didn't know they had the condition at the time, I knew I had met a kindred spirit; someone with a resolute attitude who refused to give in and change their way of life just because they had to deal with something they couldn't control. They are one of the very few people I admire.
A skydive will be great fun but more importantly I want to raise awareness of Fibromyalgia and the social stigma it carries as an invisible disability. So please, dig deep if you can and also have a look at the link to the charity on my page.
Thanks very much!
