Story

This time last year I was in a very different place to where I am now. So with Birth Trauma Awareness Week approaching (19th - 25th July) I’ve set myself a ‘little’ challenge to reflect on how far I’ve come. I’ll be swimming 1.5km a day for the week of #BTAW21. This is equivalent to an Olympic triathlon swim distance or 60 lengths of a 25m pool every day. All to raise money for Birth Trauma Association, a charity close to me heart. To be clear, I have done next to nothing in the way of exercise in the past year since Arty arrived 😳😬 So your donations and messages of support would be greatly appreciated 💙

About the charity

The Birth Trauma Association supports families affected by traumatic childbirth. We also campaign to raise awareness of birth trauma and improve training of health professionals, as well as lobbying policymakers to improve care during and after childbirth.
