Running the London Marathon to support hospices across the UK.

Story

On August 12 2013 we said goodbye to our beautiful mother, aged just 49. She left behind so and many friends who adore her, family who love her, and 4 daughters who never stop thinking about her.

Mum was the epitome of a ‘people person’, made friends with anyone she met, had the best ‘Muttley’ laugh, the most creative mind, and above all had so much love that she gave out so freely to everyone, always putting others’ needs ahead of her own.

I’ve never been able to talk about her publicly but have made this the exception, because it’s for the most incredible cause, and one which gave my mother the extra calm, comfort and care she needed and deserved. A special mention to Ellenor Lions Hospice, who not only helped to relieve her pain in providing the most attentive care, but will forever continue to relieve ours in that knowledge.

I am so thankful to all the work Hospice UK do, and am so grateful to have the opportunity to run for them as part of their 2021 marathon family. I intend to run this just once, so would love you to join me in thanking them through your donations and support. Here goes... 🏃‍♀️
