A few months ago we decided to sign up to a 10k run, we thought it would be a nice thing to do on a Saturday morning.

Unfortunately we signed up to the British Military Fitness 10k run. This is no ordinary running race, this 10k involves climbing over obstacles, running though mud pits and sliding under floor nets whilst dragging our tired, broken bodies around a very hilly 10k course whilst mean army men shout at us .... We need your help to raise as much money as possible  over the next 5 days for SANDS - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity.

In the UK 17 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth every day. The death of a baby is a devastating experience. The effects of grief can be overwhelming and parents, their families and friends can be left feeling dazed, disorientated, isolated and exhausted. SANDS are an amazing charity who support parents when a baby dies in pregnancy or soon afterwards. Your support will help SANDS support families through an incredibly heartbreaking experience.
