My brother and I are taking part in the 10km Great Ethiopian Run in Addis Ababa on the 23rd November to try and help raise money for the local Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. It is the only hospital of its kind in the world and has provided care for women with obstetric fistula since 1974. Obstetric Fistula is a common problem in the developing world which can leave women physically incontinent as well as completely ostracised by their families and society, however a relatively cheap operation can cure the condition. Inspired by this, we would like to ask for any kind of donation to help fund the Hospital's work and would be extremely grateful if you could sponsor us using this page and help us to reach our £2000 aim!
